How do I know a Murramungee bull is going to work?History doesn't lie, our client weaner sale results are testament to our success. At Murramungee Angus Stud we have two main areas that we focus on to support performance excellence: All Bulls offered have successfully passed crush side semen motility testing (> 70% motile unless noted otherwise on individual animals); independently evaluated by Murray Valley Veterinary Services - Brad Goonan. All Bulls have been independently foot scored for structural soundness by Liam Cardile, the results of which are reported on each animal to our clients.
-
What is the vaccination history of Murramungee bulls? All Bulls have been vaccinated with Pestigard, Ultravac® 7 in 1 and double vaccinated with Vibrovax® ready for immediate breeding programs.
-
How many females will a single bull service in one breeding cycle? For our 18 month bulls we recommend not working them too hard for the first season to increase the service life of the animal. 12 - 18 females in the first season are ideal.
-
Do the bulls come with a guarantee? As outlined in the above FAQ's a lot of effort goes into preparing our bulls for your breeding programs. On the basis of this, all of our bulls are guaranteed for the first breeding season from the date of sale for fertility and ability to breed naturally (excluding injury or diseases contracted post purchase). The guarantee will include reimbursement of the purchase price less the meat value or a suitable replacement bull as agreed by both parties -dependent on availability.
-
What bulls are currently available and how do I inspect them?We try and keep the latest offerings current under "Our Cattle" and the current annual bull sale for any remaining animals available. We are always happy to arrange a private viewing at convenient time. Simply give us a call or drop us an enquiry via the online form at the base of this page.
